Ich habe vor kurzem die Miniserie „Alles Licht, das wir nicht sehen“ (Original: „All the Light We Cannot See“) auf Netflix gesehen und kann diese nur empfehlen – eine wunderschöne Geschichte mit der Botschaft, dass es auch in der dunkelsten Zeit Menschlichkeit geben kann – leider ein in der aktuellen Zeit topaktuelles Thema…
Die Serie spielt zwar in Saint-Malo in der Bretagne, hat mich aber dennoch sehr an meine Reise in die Normandie im Mai 2018 erinnert. Dort sind die Spuren des zweiten Weltkrieges auch heute noch überall als mahnendes Zeichen sichtbar.

Auf dem Rückweg waren wir noch für ein paar Tage in Paris und haben es geschafft, den Eiffelturm nur aus der Weite zu sehen.
I recently watched the mini-series „All the Light We Cannot See“ on Netflix and can only recommend it – a beautiful story with the message that there can be humanity even in the darkest of times – unfortunately a very topical subject at the moment…
Although the series is set in Saint-Malo in Brittany, it reminded me a lot of my trip to Normandy in May 2018. The traces of the Second World War are still visible everywhere there today as a reminder.
